I just hate how almost all the drivers hate the Z4. It's like ever since they test drove the 03 with SMG they immediatly shot down all the other z4's.

What? Every comparison I've seen ends with some BS comment like that. The greatest reason to take a Boxter over a Z4 is the name badge? The Boxter STILL doesn't better the Z on the track and it costs a lot more. I'll take the Z.

Don't get me wrong.. I still love the P cars! :thumbsup:

They both looked like they needed to go to the track more often.
 
The younger guy, Jason Plato, is a BTCC racer and he won the BTCC title a few years ago, and Tiff Needel is an ex-F1 driver... :P I would expect them to have more track experience than... say... me for example... :roll:

Quite why or with what qualifications you say that is the question!? Both drivers have driven more tracks than you, me and most other people on this forum put together. :?

Though they may be professional drivers, the lack of helmets etc, and the drifting moves, shows this comparison was done just for the 'wow' affect to get teenagers and racer-wanna-bes all excited. Not aimed at true car enthusiest really. Put these two cars on a few different race tracks, with the proper sized wheels (19" are over kill on the Boxter) and road legal race spec tires (same brand), and let each driver do laps independently in both cars and then compare the lap times. I'd bet the Boxter would be the winner, though I think the Z4 with sports suspension is fantastic.

You have a fair point about the helmets.
