Hello all and thanks in advance for your advice!
2003 BMW z4 2.5i - Automatic Soft Top
Last night I was putting my top down and like an idiot I left a CD case in the compartment where the top retracts to. Once I realized there was something there I raised it up and got the case out but then the top would not go down but it easily went up and locked in . I can manualy put the top down and I can press th ebutton and the top will go up with the motor and lock into place. When I press the button for the top to go down the orange light stays lite up and there is no noise as well as no reaction by the windows when I press the button for the top to go down. I read in the owners manual that if you press the button and its stays orange then it means that the compartment in the back is not down but I have checked and it is all fine.
When I bought my Z4 it didn't come with a layout of what fuse is what so I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a fuse number for this and if so do you think this could be a problem?
Thanks for all your input!
