Hello All:
This is my first post as I just encountered my first issue with my Z4. My convertible top has a history of openings and closings on countless occasions with no problems at all. Today I was driving home with my top down and it started to rain lightly. This is the first time I've encountered rain with the top down and immediately moved over to the road shoulder and tried to close the top with the usually effortless button on the mid console. After multiple tries, nothing!!!! I was finally successful in lifting the top manually as I continued to press the button and it locked properly. About an hour later when I finally got home, the skies were clear and the top opened and closed with absolutely no problem. Nothing like this has ever happened before and I was curious if anyone out there had any clue why the top would suddenly act up like this. ??????????????
