Convertible problem

Hi,
I have a 2003 z4, today when I tried to take the convertible down the red lamp started to blink but nothing happend. After a little while the lamp went off. Now when I press button nothing happends, the red light does not even some on. Does anyone have a clue why this is?

check the basics first; haven't touched the knobs in the boot that raise the platform under the hood have you? Even if not, just check its in the 'down' position.

I double checked it and the car still does not respond at all when I press the button to take the convertible down. I have no idea what is going on. If you have any idea at all please let me know. Thanks!

have u tried lowering it manually? might have gotten jammed and blown a fuse? just a wild guess I'm afraid...not sure if you can do this on your car?
