Convertible not working

My light is flashing where you open it, its the top red light that flashes, is it the top motor?

and is their anyway to manually take the top down?
 
Is it orange when it flashes?

Could be you left the tray in the boot up; or the micro sensor switch is faulty and thinks the tray is up.

If its red and you cant hear the motor spinning up its possibly the motor.

You can do it manually but its not convenient... There is a red pull handle in the boot to release the roof from the motor, and then you have to push it down after you use the button to unlock it.
