So I picked this pretty little thing up yesterday, it’s a minter with only 45k on the clock. Dead chuffed, it’s lovely!!

For sure - that’s tomorrow’s job. Today’s was finding the Bluetooth module to find the pairing pin so I could get the phone integration working!! Found it eventually - not easy though!

Nice move , the Si E86 finding much forum favour right now it would seem 8) did well securing rare colour & low miles

Got to love Zed whatever the roof.

If your keeping the whippy, then you're not completely lost to the old ways. :D

I’m not sure yet! May well take it off and frame it as a museum piece!

Welcome to Coupe ownership.

It looks like you've round a really good example with such low mileage.

I agree it would look better with matt black kidneys.

Car and classic - I paid the thick end of the price for it, but everything is in such excellent condition I couldn’t say no!!

With yesterday’s job being ‘finding the Bluetooth module to get the pin to pair my phone’, I couldn’t leave it alone so today’s job was er...drive it somewhere....

The washer nozzles stopped working and the sunglasses cubby gave up closing.

Found the cubby spring and TINY plastic bit on the passenger seat!

The washer tank looked like it was full of pond weed, so that’s been out, cleaned and will go back in later. Good job I’ve got the week off work ha!

Sorry to hear of your teething troubles OP. :(

I had the same issue with the washers on my 2nd Coupe - horrible green slimy stuff all over the pump filters. :o

Enjoy your week off anyway.

Going back to wheel colours I think Shadow Chrome would look great on your white car.

Green slime - this was black! Wish I’d taken before and after photos! All working now though :-) I think this comes from having a car that’s not been used much at all, but nothing serious and I’m quite enjoying it :D

Well it was more like bluey/green algae - disgusting stuff!

From what I can make out it seems to happen when different brands of screenwash are mixed, especially if one of them is BMW OE stuff as that seems to react badly with most others.

After I cleaned it all out I only ever used the cheapo Prestone fluid I got in Tesco and it all worked fine for 3+ years. I had to do the same job on my E46 3 Series and again had no issues with the Prestone fluid in over 3 years.

My E9* 3 Series seem to only ever had the BMW OE fluid so that's what I still use as I don't fancy trying to get the reservoir and pumps out of one of those as it sits inside the driver's side wheelarch behind the arch liner! :o
