Controversial opinion

Would love to hear some of your controversial opinions about the e85/e86's!

I'll start... I think the aero kit looks a bit ugly :fuelfire:

(No offense to anyone who has it, just my opinion!)

I like the aero side skirts but not a fan of the front bumper .
I love my zed but wish they had done more with the dash ...some like the uncomplicated style but I find it lacking. :fuelfire:

I love them all, E85’s to G29’s not like anything else on the road

We own one, and know what you mean. But we also think it's incredible looking at the same time, it turns heads in a sea of boring identical modern cars.

Lots of "odd" looking cars become sought after, the z3 coupe also looks odd, as did the original etype coupe to my eyes.

i much prefer the look of the pre facelift rear lights than the post facelift...
Oh 100%! This is why I have a pre-facelift to be honest, albeit with the Euro-spec clear lights.

The suspension is far too high at the rear in comparison to the front from the factory.

I`ve always thought the suspension looked to high at the front . Just goes to show how everyones view is different or is it just me

I don`t like the round side indicators and the side reflectors. I think they spoil the flow .

What an odd thread. An almost perfect series of cars and the quirks make em even more special Besides what matters is how they drive. :driving:

I like the round side indicators but not the headlights they make the car look sad. And the orange indicators in the headlights look like it’s crying. They would look better more like the e89, but it’s from the era of these designs.

And I can’t look at the headlights when I’m driving

Not so much a controversial opinion (quite a popular one I think), but the steering really lets the non-M versions of these cars down. I wonder why they decided to put EPAS on the Z4 and HPAS on the M...

I don't understand what people find so terrible about it. I also own another car and have owned other cars in the past and driven plenty of cars and it doesn't feel any different to me than any other car. Albeit it was pretty terrible to drive before I got the EPS module fixed. The sticky steering issue which ended with the module dying. Since it's been fixed it's been good. I do drive with the sport mode on always as I do in the Lexus unsure if that does something to the steering.
