Didn't realise I was first, and I don't even have an E89. :oops:

Although I don't dislike it with bright colours like red and orange as it works with the black pillars, I voted No. If I was looking to buy one it wouldn't necessarily put me off, but I wouldn't pay to have it done - surely that's just wasting money better spent on petrol. :lol:
 
I ticked yes but I think it only looks good on the Valencia Orange and maybe the silver on any other colour it's a firm no except of course on black like mine which already comes with a black roof :rofl:
 
I can’t decide cos I like the way mine looks but with some colours the black contrasting roof looks good.

Yes, unless the car's already black. Don't think a white roof would look good on mine lol...
I don't think i've seen a black roof on a blue E89 either, probably with good reason as I can't picture it looking good in my head (obviously if someone's done it, would love to see pics to see if it works or not).
 
I think it goes against the principle of the vehicle, a feux soft top.
Might as well have it covered in 1970's black vinyl.
Looked ok on my TR7.
 
I like it on Valencia Orange and Silver. Golfgeezer’s car looks stunning with those particular wheels. I wouldn’t choose to have it on my Melbourne Red car. :roll:
 
It only looks good on certain colours like the white and VO in the pics.
I didn't vote as it really depends on the colour.
 
Valencia Orange really lends itself to a black roof, followed by white then silver, any other colour doesn’t really work imo.
