I've never had more than 250 miles from a full tank in my M, but I do drive it hard.

Cool. Mine gets about 32 Mpg on a run, generally about 26 - 28 with mixed driving. I am prone to the odd burst of acceleration but generally potter about at low revs. I usually get over 300 miles to a tank on an extended run.

Like all performance cars, if you boot it, you will see early teens in mpg.

The most I've ever got from a tank in my M is 280 miles and I average 24 mpg. Used as a daily with a mix of country lanes, traffic and motorway

Best ever was 32.5mpg tank-to-tank (12 gallon/55L tank so about 380 miles to a tank).

Average over 143,000 miles is 26.9 (as per fuelly sig pic below) - so 320 miles on a tank.

Usually fill it up before the reserve light comes on as that’s just as I usually finish my 220 mile weekly commute.

I got 26.9 also over the 20k I had it. I thought it was pretty frugal for the power.
