Considering making my exhaust into a "twin" with a difference..

The supercharged E85 I was working on yesterday looked like this, and I DO like it...

I would (obvz) be keeping my modded backbox, so will be changing the tips, and adding the second outlet, what do peeps think?

I also quite like the tailpipes on this now, as it has grown on me, and is also "different"

Thoughts?

BTW, I've got a set of OE backboxes somewhere in my pile of junk spares.

With having the carver DSP amp in the boot, I don't think I can chop the battery box, hence keeping my oem'ish rear box and adding an outlet.

Hi Mike.

I like it but think it would look better with 'quad' tips rather than the two pal. :D

2x2, won't be an ///M wannabe as long as you don't stick the badges on as well haha!

I think stick with the tried and tested. Oval in my opinion would look too after market, but it's your car and either way it'll look good :)

With your skills and equipment why not. I like the quad exhaust look

Would you be sourcing an M back bumper or cutting the original?

Afraid I'm an oe fan here, in my eyes it won't add any more performance & will only add to the weight so I see it as style over substance. Only my opinion of course

Yup I like the oval look.

Just be sure to fit a nice big SC, so the go matches the show.

I think quads look  and get a  from me :D or how about 1x1 like the e89 35i/is? A style only mod is fine as it's just stamping your mark on your p&j and I'm sure it'll sound even better than when I heard it at ZEDfest

Looks superb! How much to do it?
EDIT: 2x2 but deffo pipe(s) on the driver's side too, it helps balance the car IMO.

I'd go for quads mate . Have you modified any quad boxes yet ? , it would be an amazing sound . Looking forward to hearing a supercharged DLV zed .

Strong case being made for the quads... Looks like I'll be scouring the forum to see how people have done it without touching the battery box...

Companies like Eissenman do quad exhausts for non m's, it just has a branch off pipe when the exhaust gets to the rear, which goes from left to right near the back bumper.
Def go Quads

Another vote for quads from me, but I want to add a second outlet like this and have been wondering what a ballpark figure it would cost to do would be? I haven't had any quotes.
