connecting my phone to my stereo

Hi guys im new to this forum and new to bmw's altogether i now own marius's grey z4 on x5 wheels an amazing car and i just love it. I was wondering how do i connect my phone to the radio for handsfree or do i need to buy a add on part to use this function?

Also im after making it sound a little more aggressive what systems are people using? any recommendations etc.

Does the car have Nav with blue tooth phone prep? If so, you'll need to get the code to pair the device (I think?!). I'm needing to do the same as I dont have the code. I'm taking mine to the stealership on Monday.

For the exhaust, you can do a back box bypass which is fairly straight forward. Custom systems seem to be the way to go
 
where is the module placed, i have the sat nav and a 11 speaker system so would have thought the first buyer would have had the bluetooth aswell
 
You have one speaker more than anybody else :wink:

Some cars are spec'd strange. If you have BT you will have a cradle and pairing button in the arm rest also.

Also it will show telephone on the main menu screen of the nav.

Module is in the boot under the carpet/boot liner.
 
Can't help you out with the phone issue, but recently had my rear silencer bypassed by a company in Hayes. Style dynamics. I'm very pleased with the end result and now booking back In for sport cats. Also got a pair of e36 m3 manifolds to go on
