Confused - sDrive?

Sorry for the possibly newbie question but what on earth is sDrive.

It sounds like some kind of special auto-box (which I know they are offering) - but if I'm reading the brochure correctly then even the manual has this name attributed to it.

Soft Drive... they made it softer and less manly

I can see a lot of people ticking the debadge option, looks very ugly having such a long badge.

Definately, reminds me of all of the Nova's, Fiesta's etc that you see driving about with fake badges plastered all over the back

The new nomenclature is Sdrive = RWD, Xdrive = AWD.
