CONFIRMED: London(ish) Meet - Sun 18 May 2014

Sorry chaps, I'm flying overseas for work that day.

Yes I know it's a Sunday, no I'm not happy about it. But seeing as I'm dept. Head I don't want to inflict it on my team.
 
Please can you take me off the list, something has come up so I don't think I'll be able to make it, but if I can then I'll add myself back in.

Small meet indeed... We've got two confirmed people, two definite maybes, and the rest are people that said they'd come to the London meet in the last thread, but haven't heard from them since.

Shall we bother having this meet, or shall we wait until more people can make it?
 
I think if we dont do it the summer will come and go without a meet! I have to say we will all have to commit for it to work though.. :thumbsup:
 
I wanted to go. But so many people seemed to drop out ?!! Which made me unsure because I'm not so close by!

I wanted to go but just lie in the unsure category as so many people pulled out - simply because it is a 50 mile drive there, then the drive. I'd rather that kind of mileage if it is a big meet :-( seemed like when the ACE cafe idea went, so did a lot of interest :-(

ABS sensor's gone on my Zed, so I have no speedo or ABS at the moment. I'm going to have to pull out myself, oh the bitter irony. Can't go to my own meet.

Anyone else want to run with this, or shall we cancel and do another time?

The Ace cafe was discussed for ages but never actually confirmed on date or whether they could accomodate us (IIRC). That thread was pages and pages of no progression. Then when decision was made to change the location that could be confirmed for availability and parking space the Kent boys decided to pick the same date for their meet and then pulled out taking others with them. Thank you Dan for attempting to organise this. Much appreciated :thumbsup: Hopefully a meet can be sorted locally in the near future.
 
Thanks for the kind words, Ruby. It's a shame we couldn't get more people confirmed for sure. I'll ping everyone a PM tomorrow saying the meet is not longer on and call the pub, unless someone lets me know beforehand that they want to run with this?
