Configuring Hidden Menu?

Is it possible to get rid of average mph (i'm in the United States) and replace it permanently with instant mpg, either through the OBD or coding? Or is the hidden menu something that must be accessed each time the car is turned on?
 
I like having average mpg, but don't ever see a need for average mph. Ideally, I'd like the OBD to scroll through time, temperature, DTE, avg mpg, and instant mpg. replacing average mph with instant mpg would be awesome if possible but I haven't seen any coding possible for the OBC yet.
 
Having the average MPH on the Sat/Nav screen is pretty cool and I can see it being useful on a trip, but I agree with you, it would be nice to be able to change instrument cluster to scroll instant mpg.
