Condensation in my headlight

the only way water/moisture can be entering the light is via a poorly fitted or damaged back cover, or by the vent hole - if not then there must be a crack in the light housing or lens

if i remember correctly one of the previous threads on this said you could reverse the seal around, this made it reaseat in the housing and the problem was gone, i had the same issue dried it out with a hair dryer turned the seal around and no more condensation,,, i replaced the bulbs too which resulted in having to take this action

Try this as a new gasket on top of the old one

It will cut in two easily and fits the seal dimensions perfectly.

I also used this on drivers side roof rubber where it meets the drivers door glass when in the fully raised position -I had a whistle as the rubber seal has become hard over time ( 12 years) and this makes a good seal without causing the anti-trap feature of the window motor to activate.

Old thread but you just need to apply silicone grease to the seal before refitting. Job done.
