Hello everyone, I have just bought a beautiful Ruby Black Z4 with not so beautiful condensation front fog lamps. Does anyone have any idea's how you remove the lamps so that I could try repair the seal ? They doesnt seem to be any fixings that are visible or accessible ?
Thanks people :)

Hi Sniperjay, welcome to the forum!
If your car has a BMW warranty they might replace it but if not then I've been told that they need replacing & can't be dried out. *However* I have the same problem on one of mine and have just bought a replacement from another member (on the buy/sell forum) and i think it might be possible to dry it out if I got the original one off, took the bulb out and left it in the airing cupboard for a while, has to be worth a try. To remove it I think you'll need to get it on to a ramp of some sort, be careful when taking it off though as from my experience with them it seems like the mounts are easily damaged. (I haven't removed one before but have had bumper replaced and badly refitted/replaced fogs :x)

Thanks Mr Gringo... bought car from a independant and although has a warranty, it doesn't cover the problem. Thanks for the tip, I have access to a ramp so will have a closer look but if the bumper has to come off then I may just put up with it.
Cheers :)

Bumper doesnt need to come off if you can get to a ramp, BMW replaced both of mine just before the three year warranty ran out. :D
