Have you guys seen the new concept Z1 on the cover of Automobile magazine? Just got mine in the mail, haven't read it yet but it looks like a lamborghini or something!

Here's a link to some pictures:

I'll take one!

The front looks like the e31 8-series, LOL!!! And those BMW badges on the back are such an after-thought!

More interested in what this may be!

The concept Z1 was a vehicle built only to pay homage to the original M1, and will never be built according to BMW. The vehicle I posted is going to be viewable at the BMW museum in Germany, and will be fully revealed soon :)

As pointed out elsewhere, the roundels on the back are just like those on the original. There's one about 2 miles from my house that I see on the street every once in a while. The owner love's to talk about it, and who wouldn't?

I always loved the M1. Saw one in the flesh a few months back for the first time (very rare in these parts). As a concept care this is a real thing of beauty, but I doubt that it would be very practical on the street.

Me Like!

About those humps, there was a kit to put those on the Z3s, and i've seen them on a number of Miatas. It's a roadster thing as opposed to a Solstice thing. Do a search on speedster cover and you can see a number of items that simulate the humps that you see on the solstice.

The ///M1 Homage looks fantastic. (Minus the two tone front..) I'll take one!

(Just saw the magazine on the rack.)
