Computer Temp Sensor....

Morning all,

Bit of an odd one this... the temp sensor on my dash computer seems to have gone a little doolaly, its reading as 50 degree's C outside the car, now I know we are meant to be having the hotest summer on record but..

any ideas?? I have tried disconnecting the battery but no luck.. where is this sensor?

It's going to be down near the front bumper assembly somewhere. Anybody?

It's in front of the passenger front wheel arch in the bottom of the bumper assembly. If you look in the arch their two flaps, one is to access the fog lights, open that up and you will see a sensor pointing vertically towards the ground. the part is about £15 and very easy to fit. (plug in and play).
