Computer screen freezing

Since its been a while since anyone posted on this thread, though i would check to see if there are any updates on it, or solutions.

Mine has just done this on my way to work, completely frozen. Was in stop start traffic so tried flicking off the ignition and it didn't solve the problem, but it was only off for a few seconds. I figured it could be a nav related issue so tried to remove the disc. There is a red power light on the DVD unit and the disc won't eject regardless how long i press/press and hold the button.

Will pop out at lunch and see if anything is resolved.

Out of interest how do you go about updating firmware?
 
Seems like a long enough period of being switched off has cured this problem. I have managed to eject the nav disc too which i haven't a clue if its genuine or not. Has DVD 07-1, Road Map Europe, High written on the front?
