I need some assistance from one our many IT people (don't want to say IT Geeks)

:headbang:
Can anybody help me with this bloody screen that keeps poping up

Just-In-Time Debugging
It says to select a debugger

Only one is on the list - Microsoft Script Editor

Then if you say ok it goes to something called "Remote Procedure Call"
and then fails to execute

I have no idea what this is and cant get it to bugger off... :headbang:

Any ideas

Thanks

This should do the trick...

Just make sure you select the right tree when using regedit - there are a lot of sub trees that look the same... you'll know what I mean when you get there.

I used to get this sort of thing all the time. I bought a Mac :)

Not sure exactly on this one... from what I read this is the VB editor which typically gets installed by IE as part of Visual Studio and this appears to conflict a download accelerator. Going into Regedit allows you to stop the Visual Studio part from running at startup.

Generally I just Google the error messages and just keep looking for the one that others have tried with success! The main thing once you're in Regedit is to follow the instructions exactly.

Hope it works!

Yeah... but it's with some reluctance... how many times have you had a call... "I ran this thing I found on Google because it said :) and now its  and basically :x , stupid computer! Can you fix it?"

:headbang:
