Compliment from a stranger

Was fuelling up the Z4 yesterday and felt a tap on my arm. Turned round and it was a complete stranger to me, but he said the coupe was a beautiful car. He asked if it was 2.0 or 3.0 and complimented the car again. He asked the mileage and if the values were good these days. He finished off by repeating it was a lovely car then he tapped me on the arm and said “well done” and left with a smile.

First time I’ve had a stranger come up to me and compliment the car like that!!

The tracker he secretly stuck to your arm will mean it will be stolen in the morning, if its a 3.0 and not the 2.0 version
But yes, always nice to get into a chat with cars with strangers. Common interest and all that!

I think the best comment on any car I have owned, was on my red VX220, someone walked past and said 'Nice Ferrari' !

Think I would keep with z4 rather than the modern, too many electronics now. I bought the car to drive not for the car to drive me
