Tried to get a couple more videos today but let down by the poor microphone on the iPhone again. It seemingly picked up nothing but wind noise.

Al, is it just cabin noise you want to record? I have recording equipment, as I do music production work such as recording vocalists. I can pop over if you like one day? As far as exterior recording, it would have to be static and drive by samples, as I don't have anything that would defuse the wind passing over the mic.

Well I can do that no problem. When is a good time for you? I would need to leave your place at 3pm for work, but can be available any day that suits you.

I'm berried away in the office at work from 7-am til 7-pm during week days, so would struggle a bit.
I'm only really free after 2.30pm on Saturdays and on Sundays.

Would be great to get some comparison sounds between mine and yours too!

Weekends are a bit tricky due to the kids, work and spending some time with the missus, but I will check my shifts and see what is going on this weekend and next. Should be able to sort something.

As for a comparison, yeah no worries, hopefully I've got rid of that horrid noise by then, or it will be pointless.

ooooooooh never heard of these delights. Sounds good. Will have to have a look into coding now.

There's not a huge amount available to code on the Coupé due to not having a soft top, but still can be useful for a few things!

Had a listen to the few video clips I'd tried to make through my Hifi system and this one actually didn't come out too bad.
I would definitely suggest not bothering unless you're going to listen through very good speakers or maybe some PC speakers that have a separate subwoofer...

Think its safe to say, you aren't going to really get the true sound and feel unless you see them in the flesh. The comparison video, where you make mine sound all pathetic, will help sales though :wink:

No modules available to code on the engine or transmission on these. just the General Module and the Light Switching Centre.

Little info to anyone reading this thread who like me has a pre face lift.... I've been In touch with Scorpion about the compatibility to the older cars. Their statement back has been its only been checked and offered for the face lift. They don't have plans to develop it for earlier version, though if there is enough interest they could look at it.
So if anyone's interested I'd either suggest you perhaps post here and I'll make a list of people and forward the total numbers onto them, or drop them an enquiry directly. If we get enough interest perhaps we'll get chance as well.

I've offered my car as a donor to be checked which they said they will look into.... If I'm honest doesn't sound to promising for us older cars...Unless there is plenty of interest. But let's see where I can get with it and keep you all informed.
