Legally for 1 year, yes.

Needs to conform to foreign regulations though, MOT in NL is every other year, not yearly.
 
I'm not sure this is correct these days. Within Europe you can keep a car in any oher EU country for 6 months max without local registration. During that time it has to comply with home country regulations of Tax insurance and MOT. If Poland doen't have an MOT then it wouldn't be applicable.

I know some of this from looking into cars in taken to Spain.

Incedentally it seems all the countries police forces can readily check foreign car compliance, so for instance Brits now get pulled driving non MOT, tax or insured cars in Spain
