I guess I am doing around 24,000/yr and my wife in her Honda CRV is around 12,000/yr. Guess at $3.50/fill-up, which I get better mileage than my wife now. Guess about 1560 gallons@$3.50=$5460 or 4095 euros at $1 to .75 euros.

Is the 1560 gallons for the 24k or including the honda too?

I budget for £350 a month... trying to loose Bing in a hoon month tends to blow that number with the current prices

1800 for me include the other half and the zed and that doubles.

not much hope on this one for me... Z does about 3k per annum do about 20,000 miles in Company Car but its fully financed (so i guess if you take the tax element thats about £120pm)

So with one tank in the Z every so often i would say £160 per month (including the tax)

I spent £360 on petrol in Dec, just in my Zed - and that was with a week off work for Christmas... so on that basis I'd say I'm looking at £4.5 to £5k per year. Whilst thats painful, I think a calculation of how much of my life I spend n the M5/M6 in hours would hurt me more!!
