So this rule will exclude every driving picture and so there are no pictures of moving Z4's for this competition? You can not drive your own Z4 and take a picture of the outside of your car at the same time.. That's a pitysp3ctre said:Remember the picture must be taken by you and the picture must contain your Z4. No pictures of scale models Z-4's.

This will exclude some great "driving" pictures!
No problem… I was just pointing out that this means there will be only pictures of Z4's that are not moving.WLH said:Franzino said:So this rule will exclude every driving picture and so there are no pictures of moving Z4's for this competition? It's a photo contest about the pictures that the board member takes and not a contest of how great a picture someone else can take of you driving your car.
Those great driving pictures that someone else takes of you can be posted in the Gallery for all to enjoy but you can't win a contest when someone else takes the picture for you...

The rules say that I must take the picture of my own car, which I fully understand.
But, as technology has moved on since this thread was last updated, I have a question..
What's the position on me taking a photo of my car with me driving it, using my drone?
As I would also be in control of the drone, would this be an admissible photo?

Seems a rhetorical question.

Not at all. I have an idea for a photo which will require quite a bit of planning and setup, so I don't want to do all that for it to be disqualified when posting due to me using the drone.
Just to make it clear, it will be me driving my car, the drone will have been set to follow my controller which will be in the car next to me, and it's my drone, so my photo.
Mike
Is that legal? I understood that you had to maintain constant visual of your drone when flying it. How is that safe while you are driving your Zed. :?Ducklakeview said:idej_jedi said:Ducklakeview said:Question...

That will be OK Mike, looking forward to seeing what you’re planning :spy:Ducklakeview said:As I would also be in control of the drone, would this be an admissible photo?
