this is a poll as to which cute convertible to buy the wifey. please contribute all thought and dont be shy to jack the thread
 
Depends on the women of course, but my wife, admittedly a little older will not drive the Zed, she has but does not like it. It is too low and hard to get in and out of. She drives the Mercedes and that is what she likes. So I would get her a new one. But but but....her girlfriend just got a new SmartCar and she likes that. Oh well who can figure women :)
 
I hope ya'll know S-Class is the biggest sedan Benz makes... SLK is the convertible. but I picked TT. it's the cutest little tihng out right now imo. I love the way it looks but definitely little feminine!

+1 so voted for the S-class. To me, the SLK is classy and women look good in it. The SLK350 has stronger body lines than the older SLK320 and I considered it before getting the Z4 but after one zip around the corners on my favorite on-ramp, all ownership thoughts of the SLK faded. I still think the best car won! 8)
 
I voted for the 135i Convertable for 3 reasons:

1. I'm selfish and have an inferiority complex and have to drive a better car than my significant other so she can't also drive a Z4

2. I love BMW and am not very big on Merc or Audi (although agree they are GREAT auto's).

3. It's a 4 seater, so she'll have room to bring all of her hot girlfriends home from the bar and they can crash out at our place :D .
 
none i wouldnt trust the mad women with a decent car her and her long nailed friends with there big flashy rings would soon scratch it!!
 
We have just bought a 2.5 Z4 (2003) and we are both surprised by just how good it is, we love it. The problem is that it is my wife's car and I have to keep thinking of reasons to borrow it. :wink:
So far she's being very good about it. :D
 
Well your married, so denying the goods is probably out. Just tell her if you don't drive it at least once a day Chuck Norris kills a kitten.

You sure you'd want her in a 135i with that complex of yours? The 135i pretty much matches the Z4M!! :o

But then of course, maybe this is a good excuse to get to drive it at times :-) That's why I'm trying to convince my gf to buy the 135i!

So the 135 gets my vote for "cuteness" and functionality. If she want's, "awww...isn't that just the cutest little car!!" go for the TT (no offense to TT owners ;-) )
