Well not me, but the point I was making was that you oft see manufacturers pitch their performance version against some high quality global brand and compare some performance figures, value for money BHP per ton, whatever to no doubt create a halo effect for themselves and elevate their product.

Vauxhall, Ford do it all the time. I cannot speak for Caddilac as I know nothing about them other than some big old cars of the 60' to 80's that still cruise around, so it could actually be a world beater :roll:

GM has to do something to generate interest in their vehicles again, whether competing against BMW or any other top-selling brand. The old reliance of us buying American only have long since passed.
