Company Car Allowance and Mileage Rates

I think that's the key though, not upsetting your work force to much, however those in HR tend to be devoid of such morals, there just doing there job.

As for the process we are completing there are no significant changes, just bringing them up to date, working time directive, use of the Internet etcetera.

Karma is a bitch

Same thing happened where I once worked

Change of contracts, it involved working nights on a shift rota as opposed to overtime and call out rates reduced

They said you have to sign this by this date,

Two of us didn't sign it

Kept saying you have to sign this if you turn up to work on 1st you have effectively sign and agreed to the t&c`s

On the 30th my manager came to see us and said again when you come in Monday you will have signed this

Me "we are not coming in on Monday"

What?

"Got a new job, starts Monday"

Gotta love those "signing off" stories. Where I worked a guy had a very antagonistic relationship with his boss and was looking for a job. Lovely timing meant the boss dragged him into the office on the day he was going to hand in his notice and said "I'm just looking for an excuse to fire you". So he stood up and smacked his boss one knocking him and chair over backwards! "How will that do?" he said, and walked out

Quality

The best thing was there was 3 of us authorised for high voltage switching and writing permits, 2 of us left the only reason the other one didnt leave because he wasn't that good

So he effectively had no one to operate his plant. so if the power went off for any reason it was most probably going to stay that way
