Hi Guys and Girls.

I'm torn between a 3.0 Roadster and the Z4 MR. What I wanted to know before i take the plunge is are there any common issues (Mechanical) with the M over the 3.0 that I should be aware of (potential expense) or is it all pretty standard as long as itis serviced.

You need to take more care with the perforated brakes on the ///M to make sure you don't warp them. Seems to be ongoing lambda sensor failures too http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14998

Nothing that would put me off though, although I'm sure I'd extend the BMW waranty or get an equivalent aftermarket one

On the plus side, the M gets rid of the electric steering that seems to have caused so many of us problems.
