Coming out of hibernation

Good Evening,
The weekend will see my Z coming out of hibernation having been parked in the garage for 6 months. A quick question.......?
Before starting the engine I was thinking of removing the fuel pump fuse to allow the engine to crank to build up oil pressure. I'm not sure if it's as simple as this or am I likely to cause more electrical mayhem with faults etc than just starting the engine and allowing it to tick over?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated 👍
Cheers
Ady

Started mine today also took it for MOT all good passed with no advisories roll on Sunday to Tax for another 6 months :D

Am sure I will forget the process every year, and not sure how the dates don’t line up again?!

Car currently SORN, and MOT runs out end of March. Guessing I can drive the car with expired MOT to a prebooked appointment & the. Tax once I’ve got an MOT?

Yes that’s right, but don’t forget there is a slim chance of being done for no tax on your way from the mot so I’d do that whilst you wait if possible.

Yes, cheers. Based on failing timing wise to not get it out of the garage for the Easter weekend, will make sure I tax it (or try to) whilst at the garage.

It is only 1 mile from home, so would need to be very unlucky...

Mine is out of hibernation as of today; it'll be the 'daily' for a few months i think ( golf being picked up by lease company today - great car but dull despite the pace). 1 drive in and I aready have a big smile on my face. (M'bike is still tucked up in the garage though)

I never bother with SORNing the z4 .. it got a few days use over the winter when it was clear skies and clean roads. Forgot to plug in the trickle charger though and the battery was unreviable in the cold snap in Jan :headbang: , easily replaced and it was on the original so probably overdue anyway.

The first pictures I've added, no idea why one is upside down or how to correct it? I'll get the hang if it all one day! Lol

Bloody good grip on your tyres
Love the garage :)

There's a lot to be said for ditching the run flats :P
I decorated the garage a few years ago. I'm well pleased with it although Mrs G thinks I'm crazy!
