Coming back to the fold...Too, Part 2

Thanks everyone, yes I am well chuffed, having problems registering ConnectedDrive, get the code from messages, enter it online and get an error message :scratchhead:

What error are you getting? I was getting some initially but after some messing around worked it out. Its not a very obvious process.

It states that it's busy and to try again later, when I did about an hour later it said code had expired, so clicked for a new code, entered it and the same error came up again.

When you enter the code, what is supposed to happen?

Im guessing you mean the code on the phone itself? it unlocks the app for you. I initially thought you could make up your own code, but in actual fact once you register, you need to log in online, it will give you a code etc and then pair it all up. You also need to click a button online (cant remember what its called) to activate the car itself.. that was the part that wasnt obvious!

Registered on ConnectedDrive online, entered the car details, it then sends a message to the car with a code which you have to enter online, the error comes up after I have entered the code. Haven't got to the phone apps yet

Looks lovey. Great colour combo. Love how they present it with the roof off with the current weather it won't getting much use but at least you know it works.

currently on hold with BMW customer services trying to sort it, now PVR one of the apps is a life saver, if i'm say sat in a theatre and i think, did I lock the car? well now I can check and lock it from the comfort of an armchair :D

Hmm, never had that requirement or urge .... :)

I generally also know where I left the car ;)

Driven to Manchester today and have to say after 250 miles I'm well pleased with the car, on the plus side, Engine is silky smooth and sounds great at 3000 rpm and above, deep and throaty. Gearing is good 70 mph = 1500 rpm, M Sport Seats are really comfortable and lumber support works well. Harmon stereo is excellent and worth the extra and like the sat nav, iDrive is easy and logical to use. The only downside is the tyre noise from the rft's

Loving the car, where can I drive tomorrow
