Comfort access ?

When the security upgrade was applied the roof closure with the key on my previous 2010 E89 was then disabled. It had worked until then.
My dealer tried to get into the system code but couldn't - my solution - Smarttop !

Never looked back :thumbsup:
 
I have electric folding mirrors and would love them to fold and unfold when locking and unlocking, could anyone code this for me?
 
Yes it can, I have it on my 35is, the wing mirrors fold up with a 1-2 second press and hold of the fob and then fold down when unlocking.

if you are ever near Cornwall I'll do it for you for free, along with any other options you fancy :)

AL I'm in Worcestershire and have a Carly and could do your wing mirrors if you were passing or nearby. I'm no expert but the software is quite friendly.

I'm sorry i don't really know but i think about the 400 mark. Got mine off ebay in an auction last week and fitted it Wednesday, easy enough to do. Very useful.

Yes Rob , that's the one . I haven't fitted the bulbs , wasn't really interested in them to be honest, would definitely recommennd the smart top though, took me about 20 mins start to finish to fit . It's just plug and play really . A man of your calibre would have no issues .

Sorry I was going to post a link but I freely admit that I forgot!

I got sidetracked when my son-in-law came to help me fit the winter wheels on Mrs K's car

I would say that the £302 is a good price if you want one now and aren't prepared to wait for one coming onto the second hand market.

I used the Carly app yesterday with my daughters partner and turned on a few features, I have brighter DRLs with 'US' style orange marker lights, power fold mirrors on lock and unlock and also have a digital speedo readout in the pod display! Brilliant. :thumbsup:

All very useful but in my opinion the roof operation from the key fob is the real benefit of the smart top module. :thumbsup:
