Yes that weird camber angle was intentional. Say what you will about its styling choices but in the end it's what he wanted.
 
How does anyone fit side skirts that badly and then think "Job done, time for paint!" ??? :o

Notice how the "After" shots show no detail!
 
Well the after shots are from the repaired, post hack-job car. I assume it was done right as per the owner's words.

the after shots look as if the wheels are about to snap off ! as for the before pics with wood screws, words fail me...
