Colour - Seprang Bronze - Views?

The one for sale in Tamworth is my old car.

Had a wheel bearing, new FM antenna and a lambda sensor under warranty. No other problems. There is (was) a pin sized dent on top of the boot but you'd probably notice it if viewing the car.

Tyres on the back are 2003 year of manufacture so they really need changing now!

The guy has done very few miles in the car since I sold it to him in 2010.

I'm very tempted to buy it back but in middle of a house move so not a good time for me.

This is currently parked in my garage. It definitely ain't brown! In the flesh it looks phenomenal. Never seen a really good photo of a sepang coupe yet. The best colour for an M. :poke:

Rule Number ONE: buy what YOU like! If you like it a lot, then you'll keep it in immaculate condition and that is what will help you to sell it later. I bought a Phoenix Yellow Z4MC a few months ago despite all the comments about vomit and piss from some on here.

+1 Exdos. Couldn't agree more

It would be interesting to see phoenix yellow side by side with sepang...

If nothing else, the length of this thread goes to show what a talking point the colour is. I guess when people were originally spending £45k on a 2 seat indulgence they tended to be pretty safe with their colour choice, in that red, blue, silver, black are all going to look good... But bronze, or yellow ? When you can't see how it will turn out ? Big risk of hating it... After a good few years though, having had the chance to see the cars and let them 'grow' I think it is easier to appreciate all the colours. The only Z colours I don't like so much are merlot (sorry) and that urban green nonsense they had in the US. I would never have bought a new Z in Maldives blue, but having seen Jembo's and Nosa's my opinion is now totally opposite.

Who gives a sh1t what anyone else thinks - Exdos is right, get what YOU want. After all, when you are charging down an open and twisty B-road at ramming speed with a grin akin to the Joker's, how much are you caring about the colour  :driving:

That's just plain childish!

I've not heard any bad comments about Phoenix Yellow after I took it to Silverstone, whereas before I bought it, there were quite a few... You know who you are! :poke:

Yup, even Wee Bing liked yours exdos, and there was me thinking he was developing good taste :poke: :P

At least if you parked it outside a night club it would still look clean the morning after then, with all the vomit and piss you see round clubs! :D

X 1  love sepang bronze. It's not brown, brown is brown. Sepang bronze isn't. The paint is stunning in the flesh.
