Colour difference between 472 and A08?

I am looking at a hardtop on ebay which is silver grey metallic paint code A08 and I am wondering how different it is from the sterling grey paint code 472.
Would the difference be that noticeable?
Can't say I've seen silver grey. I thought that was a later issue colour but the seller says the hardtop was on a 2006 Z4.

Yes, its quite a different grey. I had an 06 car that was silver grey, sp the age sounds about right.

You'd notice it I reckon. Sterling has almost a hint of brown to it, where silver grey is a purer grey, if you know what I mean :?
