I agree define toy has to shine

Black red blue camo yellow!!

I think you've got it: black front, red on the right, blue on the left and yellow on the back. If there's a colour you don't like when it's done then there's only 1/4 of the car to re-spray :P

Hope this helps :D

I was serious about the chrome... But if that's not for you then how about paint that changes colour with temperature? Theres some pretty cool effects on that stuff when it rains in summer :)

I think that would look 'tacky' :poke:

It depends how different you want to go and what finish, darks or lights. I like grey but you could try a redder blue to complement the TT?

We'll vanilla.

It's all quite funny all this this colour changing stuff. I am actually really quite colour blind. Found out trying to join the fire brigade at 19!! My mum found it funny as it explained all the purple sky's in my pictures as a kid

In other news I have been on the DVLA agin looking at plates. MM03 APE is only £250!! Just a normal plate though really.

I think some of the grey/silver shades work better than others on the Zed - the Sterling Grey takes some beating as does silver grey when it looks like aluminium - gives an impression of a light hand built special from the past.

Agree about silver grey, in the right light and from the right angle. Perry's better half took this one of my car :

...but I agree with cj, if you're going to go the whole hog do something special

I'd go for a really rich colour.
I like the z4 in the grey shades if you view it as 'one car', but it doesn't stand out between other cars.

If I had the chance i'd not go for a specific bmw colour, but a colour like corvette laguna blue (2013-2014):

(I think that's a bit different than the bmw blue palette)

I mean the z4 is a sportscar, so it can stand a bright colour.

After seeing this........... I think stay the same and do a bit of tinting? Love that car...

Why not keep to your original silver, but have some pearl mixed in with the lacquer, would be the same but different if you know what I mean. :D
