Good morning everyone 😀
Can’t believe I am up this early, as I don’t leave until lunch time.
The excitement of collecting a new (to me) car😀
Will keep you all updated as the day progresses.
It’s going to be a long day, but hopefully a good one.
Don’t expect to be home until late tonight, but will try to pop up a picture or two.
Will be an interesting comparison, as I have thoroughly enjoyed the E85, and appreciate all the help I have received over the last couple of years,with special mentions to Mr Wilks, Mr Tidy,Greg81, and many others.

Ha ha! You sound like me when I was a kid on the day we were going away on holiday, or at Christmas! :rofl:

It’s a great feeling. Enjoy the day and especially the drive home. :driving:

I Agree.
But unfortunately, the seller is working until 4.30pm, so could not collect any earlier.
A nice drive back under the stars, well you never know.
 
Up before 5am to collect after 4pm ... it must be a looong way.

Did you press the fuel flap on your E85 to open it? You will on this E89 ... and probably tonight.
 
I feel your pain... have you offered to call this guys boss, just so he can leave early? It's a valid reason...
 
Hope all goes well. I collected mine way back in July. I know exactly how you feel. We travelled from Lincoln to Cheltenham and I was up at the crack of dawn. I’m well into my seventies and still enjoy the thrill of a new car. Why would anyone ever want to grow up? :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Well showed myself up on the train.
Bare mind, I haven’t been on a train for 10yrs.
Standing waiting outside the toilet thinking, I wish they’d get a move on, I’m bursting.
Attendant comes by, everything ok she says, well it will be when I can get in there I say.
Press that button there she says, and the door opens.
Then proceeds to tell me , that button closes the door, that button locks the door, and that button opens door when your finished.
Really I say, now feeling slightly embarrassed by my lack of train knowledge.
I was about to say, is there a button to press for wiping you a..
But thought better of it, as it’s still a long way to go yet, and I don’t fancy the walk.
