Thanks for letting me know that - I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm certainly a function-over-form kind of guy (as anyone who sees my dress sense would attest) - so I'll be keeping the twirly aerial.
I like Twirly things anyway.
With regard to the DAB, I presume you could use one of the Alpine AI-NET receivers with an Intravee.
