Hi All,
Just wanted to start a discussion regarding opening the roof in cold weather.
I am a staunch advocate of 'no rain roof off'.
However I remember that in the owners manual of my last ragtop convertible, an Audi on a 61 plate, it stated not to open the roof in low temperatures as the waterproof lining, neoprene/silicon could crack as its flexibility is reduced.
So my thoughts wandered to the insulation on the cables that flex when opening our hard tops, do you think that cracking of the insulation is likely at low temps, any electricians on here with an answer???
