Hi everyone, looking for some help with my exhaust emission warning light that comes on during cold starts. The car shakes and vibrates when idling for a while, but after heating up for a few minutes everything runs fine again. There are no problems at all when the engine reaches normal termperature.
I've taken it to BMW and there was an error code for misfires on cilinders 1 and 5. They swapped the ignition coils to other cilinders, but the problem came back on 1 and 5 again, so their conclusion was that the spark plugs were probably bad. After replacing all spark plugs, the problem still persists. Does anyone have an idea what could be going on here? The engine is a M54 3.0.
