Cold hands warm heart...?

Anyone else struggle to keep their hands warm whilst their hands are on the steering wheel? I personally like to have the blowers on my hands whilst driving but the vents don't seem to move in far enough to enable me to do this... I am currently utilising the 'alternating hand between bum/heated seat' method but would prefer a better solution...

This is the only gripe I have with an otherwise perfect car...

Top down heated seats on heaters at hands

I can get the heaters to blow at 2 and 10 oclock

I have some thin driving gloves but always keep the heating on 21 degrees AUTO. So within a few minutes the ambient temperate in the car is up, and generally stick the seats on 1/3 for 10mins to warm up.. a few mins of cold hands is fine as an hour of fun begins shortly after :D

I've got fingerless chav gloves made of Thinsulate with grippy palms - £3.50 on Amazon - sorted!
Mine were £2.99 from SportsDirect :).. I'd continue smiling but the drive there and back probably means I paid £15.

heated steering wheel. thought it was OTT...... but its nice to have on a cold day with the top down. :D

That would be perfect..but I'll look into the gloves in the meantime..

Thought about getting the heated steering wheel, then I didn't when I realised I'd still need gloves to and from the car so bought other stuff with the money including some nice toasty gloves :)

Heated steering wheel only heats the palm side though, which after a while gets warm anyway... Back of the hands is the issue for me...

I assume by the fact gloves have been recommended by quite a few people others have the same issue and not just 'wimps' (yeah that's right jan_tekin the quotation marks are directed at you ). I always attributed driving gloves to the elder generations, but I suppose I am nearly there with breaking into my third decade (WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN!!)

Johnny Essex, like your thought although I may substitute granddad brand for alpine stars, or is that a little excessive?? Hah :P

Ruby, do they do fluffy covers in ///M chunky spec? :driving: I remember me granddad had one of them on his old Datsun haha...

Gloves....pah! Get a grip - on the wheel! Gloves are for wimps. Unless they have leather faces and string backs with holes for the knuckles!
