For same price I'd go for fk Street, they one of the best budget coilies I had. Fitted them to my old z4 and ride was better than on oem suspension. Buy directly from Germany and you will save nearly £100.

i helped Richard who owns venom motorsport decipher that these coilovers are for the Z4, which were originally E46 coilovers, they fit the Z4 platform perfectly, and i have them on mine with no issues.

When I was doing my research - I nearly purchased BCRacing Coil-overs - as these were the ones most people used who supplied & fitted had on there own cars.

What did you go for in the end? I'm looking for something that exceeds OEM, whilst not being brutally harsh.

Lucky you didn't buy bc's. They worst thing you can fit to your car, I fucking hate them , all 4 knocking constantly, not what you expect for £7-800. Sure ride quality is perfect , but again everything is better than crappy oem shocks and springs.

I've been thinking of upgrading to coilovers for a while but had it in my head that I would need to be spending £6-700 upwards, are the venom coilovers really any good? That price seems ridiculously low?!

Also is there a 2.0 / 4 cylinder version?

I rate them. Had about 20 sets of joms now and as long as you bear in mind your spending under 200 quid on suspension and don't expect the earth then they do the job just fine.

They aren't the most comfortable but look at my signature how low they are set. If you have them set to a sensible height they are no different in ride comfort to oem suspension. Again your welcome to drive my car if your in the north west

Well for an 28i E89 there are not many options - so went for KW3's, Since I do around 3 to 4 track days a year.

If it was road only - I may have gone for B12's

It quite scary decision to make - as I dont know of any E89 with coilovers - so was unable to try out.

But reading peoples comments about what they installed are very subjective. And a lot op peeps - just have coilovers for a slamed look.

But doing Craner curves @ 95 mph scared the s***** out of me - with stock Suspension and rft

I do have a firm ride, as in the summer I keep my track day settings - only in the winter I make it softer.
