Coilovers - rear shock adjusments

Hi there :)
I/m about to install my KW v2's in the nearest future
ANd I'm wondering how, those of you who happen to have a roadster and coilovers, manage to access adjusting knobs in your rear shocks..

Did the research and found nothing on this forum.. Americans have a few threads about it on zpost and thats what I've found:
On the coupe thing is pretty straightforward, and you can just install longer adjusters and end up with two knobs in the trunk:

This is the way I would like to have it in my z4r, but unfortunatelly there's a sottop cradle which comes in the way.

But the solution is far less impressive, even horrible one may say :wink:

So, chaps, any of you had this problem and solved it?
I know about Rogue engineering inverted RSM's, I even bought them, but thats not the point - Would like to adjust the suspension to my liking without neccesity to take the wheels off.
Also would like to be able to quickly adjust the rear shocks every time I need a stiffer ride, you know from youtube how sometimes things get nasty on eastern european roads :driving: :wink:

Any ideas?

you could cut a hole in the side carpets and keep it as neat as possible to create a flap that will give you access as per your links.

That's what i'll do anyway, and use velcro to keep the flap in place.
 
ba3bas, you have a coupe, so check out the first link from my first post - you can install longer adjusters and problem solved - looks neat and funtionallity is superb too :thumbsup:

The problem with a roadster is the softtop tray and its mounts, which stay in the way :thumbsdown:

Theyre suited for AST coilovers but guys over Vorschlag say they can be fitted to KW with a little bit of tweaking - if I can't find something similar here I\ll probably go for them and report back, nevertheless noone reads this topic :headbang: :fuelfire:
 
Id love to help, but first of all I have a coupe and secondly my spax adjustable coilovers i currently have & my old GAZ coilovers had adjustment screw near the mounting bolt at the bottom of the shocker.

Have you thought about putting some other coilovers on if you cant figure this out?
