Cant wait to lower mine, not sure whether i should buy the fk ones or spend extra? what you already lowered guys think?

Been on FKs now for a good while and think they are great!

40mm drop with the FK springs sits nice with 19s too Bad. :poke: I'm not sure about the difference in ride comfort between the FKs and the coilovers? Is there much Marius?
The FKs are pretty firm though. Thumbs up from me on the springs

Looks interesting! Luke, did they come with an attestation for professional fitment?
Did you mount them yourself?

Not that I remember.
Yeah I ended up fitting them myself
Sounds like a headache of a process to get it dropped! If its just signatures, should be easy enough?
It'll be worth it!

Eibach springs will take your Zed down by 30mm, my plan when i get my CSls but Maruis would be better for technical advice

Been shopping for springs too. H&R drop by 35mm, or if your looking for a more suttle look like i am AP do a spring kit which drops by 20mm, although eibach seem most recommended

Mines up on the ramp tomorrow to see if its worth replacing bushes when the new springs are being fitted

How can you tell if the bushes/brackets are worn out?

It's more than signatures really... You need an official doc from the spring manufacturer, another one from the stealer that places them and aligns the car, and another one from a special geometry MOT, all before you have the annual MOT... If you get it done the right way, it will cost you at least 500 to 600 euro, whereas if you do a diy with FK springs, its only 75 euro... :headbang: Lowering a car in Belgium is really a PITA! Same goes for the wheels: In Belgium the Zed cannot go any further than 18 inch, so I have to swap my 108's back for each MOT... Spacers not allowed either...

What if you spray the spring in black to make them look like oem thing ? Or find friendly mot garage where you can get what you wont for abit of cash :D

Car pulls to one side over bumps/jittery over bumps and can hear a slight grinding type noise when steering at slow speed. Not a mechanic but I expect this is down to the bushes.

So up on the ramp today and sure enough the front rear wishbone bushes are looking aged and cracked, roll bar bushes seemed ok but will probably change the lot for good measure.

Plan is new springs, new bushes, new wheels with not run flat tyres, followed by tracking and alignment correction. And hopefully a ride that won't make my fillings fall out

Has anyone got pics of before and after for any of the springs mentioned?

Away at the moment but going to order some in time for me getting home, also the best place to buy them?

Cheers
