I love my coffee and have had a couple of espresso machines (Gaggia and Delonghi).

I got a demonstration today of a Krups 'bean to cup' machine and was mightily impressed with coffee and also the advantages that this machine has, ie easier to use, better coffee due to fresh grinding etc etc. It also has a lovely LCD menu screen and it would look great in our kitchen! The model is EA8258.

Anyone got any experience of this machine or other similar?

We got a DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 4200! Pleased with it but takes a little tweaking to make coffee the taste you want it!

Great machine but needs patience to get sorted but once you have it all set up with the right choice of beans your sorted :)

I love coffee too and get through about 1Kg of coffee beans every month. I've had a Jura ENA5 for the last 4 years and it has been faultless and totally trouble free - just rinse, clean and change the filter when the display tells you to do so.

Liking the retro advertisements on your wall

We have a Jura S9 Avantgarde bean-to-cup machine.

If anything ever happens to it, I'd go out and get another one the same day!

My other half wasn't a big coffee drinker until I bought a bean to cup machine as I was fed up faffing about. I even buy green coffee beans, roast them myself and use them.

If my machine was to go kaput tomorrow (apart from it has a service plan from where I bought it) I'd have to get another one in a heartbeat. Can't be without it now.

I've a Jura J9.2 which replaced a Delonghi EMA4000. Nothing wrong with the Delonghi, just fancied an upgrade, it's a bit like cars didn't need a new one, just fancied it. The Delonghi now lives on at my folks and is still going strong along with my old gaggia cubika.

To be honest the Delonghi is a great machine for the money. Since getting into the bean to cup machines I very rarely visit coffee shops, I always make a coffee and take it to work in the morning and they've really paid for themselves.

We have the same........great machine.

i jumped the nespresso way and am not disappointed. some might say its an expensive way to go but i don't drink that much and i like the coffee and the latte it makes. its made by delonghi cant fault the quality.

We got a Sage Barista Express last Christmas and it's awesome!

It's bean to cup with a single boiler and it's so good we've actually stopped going out for coffee. We had a Magimix machine for several years prior to this, which just wasn't up to the job. I was initially put off by the whole 'Heston' association, but if you ignore that it's fine

It's a fast machine too. I can make a flat white in 8 minutes in the morning, from switching the machine on to sitting down with a coffee having cleaned it. We'd always thought we'd eventually go for a Rocket Evoluzione, when we could justify £1500 on a coffee machine, but now we won't bother. This thing is just amazing. No complex tweaking required, we just set the grind to 5 (mid way) and the quantity to about half and that was it. I think with our current blend of beans we're using grind 4 and slightly less than half quantity, but that's it.

The preset volumes for double and single shots are perfect for us and the steam wand is nice and consistent. All the grinder elements are easily removable, not that we've needed to yet, and any tools are supplied in the box.

It's so good, we took it on holiday with us this year!

I can't believe the price of some of those machines :o

Makes me quite glad I'm not a coffee drinker, you can buy a lot of tea for the price of one of those....
