Hi guys I'm looking at trying some Coding. I already have obd reader. I have seen the Carly but looking at the reviews I'm not so sure. I have a laptop so I'm willing to get a cable and software what have you guys got and found tried and tested success.

I was just looking at the options. Some of the OBD Cables to usb or ENET are reported to not work properly. Reports of poorly made cables, incorrect resistor values, not grounded pins ... scared me off this AM. Woulds like to buy a know good cable to work with the free software.
 
A Forum member with Carly very kindly did some settings for me recently and it worked a treat.

So well another Z4 owner got his done afterwards!

The only issue with it I can think of is you now have to buy a subscription for it.
