Coding software cable help or someone who has it already to help

Hi all
A while ago I changed all my interior from grey to black. By doing that I found out about the mileage etc being stored in the light switch panel (also replaced heater controls with a black unit) putting the tamper dot on and giving me an additional 5k on the clocks, I also (in my wisdom) turned the ignition on at some point while seats etc were out throwing the airbag light :roll: :headbang:
I've been looking at buying cables/software to have a go at all this myself and cant reliably seem to find something that will do the job (apparently bm cables was the one but alas, shut down).
I am wondering if anyone knows of a cable/software still available that would do this?
Alternatively, does anyone have an old bmcable setup, or know anyone/anywhere who would be able to help me out with sorting the tamper dot and airbag light please?
I'm based in Gloucester, so ideally close but I'm happy to travel or meet halfway or someone to come to me and pay fuel etc. I'm happy to pay for someone who has the setup to plug in and help me out.
Any help would be appreciated. Just want to get it sorted. Not fussed on mileage change btw, don't need that done and I assume it would be nearly impossible anyway.

Did you change the light switch unit for a used one, if so the mileage is indeed stored in the unit so tyhe car has probably used the higher milage it found in the replacement switch unit recognised the mismatch between mileages stored in other modules and DME, thats why you got a tamper dot. As to the airbag light if its set because you switched ignition on with the seats disconected then that should reset with a code reader like a Creator 310+. The tamper dot will probably require the light switch unit to be coded to your car so it takes on your Vin Number to match all the other modules fitted to the car. Creator scanner won't do that, you need either BMW software INPA NCS Expert and DIS. Higher end Tablet scanners like Autel or Launch may be able to code the unit.
I am in Newport and have BMW software and a Launch Tablet scanner that could try and sort it for you, always up for a meet or you could visit me at my home Zedshed here in Newport.

Yes was a used black unit off ebay. So needs coded in. I'm happy to come to you if you can sort that?
Interesting about the airbag then. I tried a creator c110+ and that wouldn't clear the airbag? I'm wondering if the airbag module near the handbrake is OK, considering it was complete interior swap, carpets, the lot. Or that reader isn't man enough?

Good quality cable with the switch needed for our cars, all the software you need and useful guides for installation and how to etc,

A very worthy investment for fault diagnosis and coding on these cars if you ask me

Another Joe! Hello. Thanks for that. I did email them about it and got nothing back, then googled them and just read horror stories. Apparently not the same company as bmcables either. When did you get your cable?

I got the cable this time last year, when I did purchase it I did think at first I got ripped off as it took about a month to turn up with no email confirmation of order or delivery if I remember correctly, but they did send an email with download links for latest software that went into my spam folder so didn't see it at first.

If you do purchase I would recommend PayPal so you can request a refund if you don't receive it.

Its just us enthusiasts who help each other out when something needs doing on our cars. Usually at my home garage as I have a scissor lift so makes it easy lifting the Z's up to get underneath. User provides ther parts for their jobs qand we muck in and do the job(s), up to the individual if they want to donate funds to the Shed which gets used towards consumables and power, will detail how to join us in the PM. Presently got 37 members with either Z3's or Z4's.
