Coding side Indicator light

Hi all,

I was just wondering if it was possible to code the side indicator light (near the door panel) to stay on permanently when you have your low beams/daylight lamps on? (providing I replace the amber bulbs to white LED)

I don't think so. Not with Carly at least.
I don't actually get why you would want to?
You won't have a side indicator come MOT time and John Q Plod might also take issue.

Ah I see! I've heard that if the side indicators on the headlamps are visible from the side, they (can) pass the MOT. But yeah just saw it on a youtube vid and thought it looked quite cool!

you could set them up as drl's so they switch the white light off to indicate using the amber light. I can see how it would be possible but why do it is another question. :?

Indicator repeater on the side must be amber same for front and back indicators, only white to the front for other lights, number plate light and reverse lights.

I'm aware but it can pass the MOT depending on the tester
