Coding out seatbelt warning with NCS expert

Never used NCS expert before but have been using INPA for many years. Finally getting round to coding my roof for remote opening amongst other things. 2003 2.5i.

One annoying thing the car always does is to moan about the passenger seatbelt when I'm driving on my own. I can cancel the audible warning by briefly pulling on the handbrake (must use the same gong!). But I'd like to code this annoyance out using if possible. I have no airbag warning lights or anything like that.

What do I need to code exactly? Thanks :-)

Very strange as usually the gong only sounds if the seat thinks there is someone in it. Possibly you have a seat occupancy sensor emulator fitted, so it thinks someone is in the seat and therefore needs the seatbelt secured.
Are they the original seats or has someone fitted facelift ones?
Are you sure the airbag light hasn't just been taped over? Not unusual on an 03 plate as the satellite modules are very hard to find and very expensive.

I’d do it with NCS Expert and NCS Dummy.

You use NCS Expert to extract (and backup) your current parameter file. Modify it in NCS Dummy. Then load the new modified file to the car using NCS Expert again.

To start:
Download a copy of NCS Dummy and have a browse through the modules. (You will need the data files for the e85). You’ll see the hundreds of settings available to tweak for each module even without your actual settings loaded. That’ll guide you on which module you need to target.

I have a skin condition so swapped the basic leather seats for cloth when I bought the car years ago. I don't think I used a dongle but I've certainly had to on E46s before and not had this issue. I'm sure the airbag light works as I had to swap a pre-tensioner on one of the seats.

If the cloth seats were from a facelift I think that could be your issue.
