Hi there,
In advance sorry aboutthe post count but I completely forgot my username and password so I had to re-register again :headbang:


Sorry if this question has been asked multiple times but I just could not find any threads.

Can you code a 2004 E85 ECU?
I have a ODB2 reader and can see the odometers readings.

I just dont have any idea what software I can use on Android or IOS to code the ecu parameters.
I am willing to buy any software that will be capable of doing it but I see BIMMERCODE cant support my model

Any help would be great.

Are you talking about remapping or coding? The e85 can be coded by Carly etc but not sure about diy remapping?

I am looking to do small things like having my indicators flashing three times instead of once when you quickly indicate. Small cosmetics nothing major. Carly says the E85 is not supported. But I will download thd android version and see
 
Ok so it seems Carly can support my car that was my fault it just does not seem to support my ODB2 unit(Veepeak).
So I will have to purchase a Carly unit then
 
Unfortunately you wont be able to code the three blink indicators on a pre facelift with carly, or anything else for that matter. The early cars just dont support it. Plenty of other stuff you can do with carly on a pre though such as roof up/down with the key etc
 
I have a Carly and was able to code my 2006 E85

3 flash turn signal
auto door locks after delay
enabled security system
double flash warning lights
change brake light response
and more
 
As said before pre-facelifts cannot be coded to do 3 blink unless you have sat nav and intravee unit installed like me. You can still do other codings like:

visual lock and unlock
audio lock and unlock
auto lock if not opened
auto lock after X mph
double speed hazards
auto up and down of windows
etc
